Music
The scouts have a Marching Band, Concert
Band, and a Stage Band. A.k.a. Magnum Band. We teach the use
of many instruments including Woodwind, Brass (and Lower), Strings,
a lot of Percussion, and the Synthesizer. Many of our Scouts
have become proficient musicians, and winners in numerous music
competitions.

Swimming
Our swimming program carries Scouts
from 'Learn to swim' classes, right up to Life Saving training,
while achieving competency in all the swimming strokes.

Boating
We currently own three boats. Sailing
and Navigation courses are held, and rowing and simple boat management
is taught.

Camps
We hold camps during the holiday periods,
and Hikes and Weekend Camps at least once a term. After careful
observation of the senior leaders, the younger scouts have an
opportunity to be selected for international Jamborees.

First Aid
All areas of emergency rescue are stressed
to enable Scouts to assist in fire fighting, resuscitation, and
general prevention and treatment.

Scout Skills
These would include compass work and
map reading, knotting, drill (marching), National Heritage, sports,
and Camp site pioneering.
